Officially one month away from home! Time has really flown by, it’s so crazy.
Today was also my last full day in Prague (I had a short stay because I squeezed Prague into the trip). I started my day journaling in a coffeeshop.
I then went to the Jewish Museum. It was super cool because with my museum ticket I was granted access to many Jewish museums and memorials throughout the city center. It was very interesting to learn about the awful mistreatment/displacement/culture of the Jewish community, especially during WW2 and the rise of communism. I was also glad to be in museums all morning as it was such a crazy windy day! At times I could hardly walk or keep my eyes open, the wind was so strong!
Afterwards, I walked around the town and divulged in the popular street food “Trdwlník”. Basically a church like cone with fillings. I got custard, whipped cream, and strawberry in mine 🙂

I then joined a communism and underground bunker walking tour. I learned a lot about the rise of communism in Czechoslovak and then we were all guided through a preserved underground bunker in case of emergency radiation/threat. It was cool and crazy to see.
After such a busy/educational morning, I went back to the hostel to pack up a little and rest. I also god Wokin for dinner which was like Chipotle but for Wok!! I got egg noodles, tofu, pineapple, fried onion, bell pepper mix, and cashews with teriyaki sauce. It was so good and so cheap also.

For my last night, I decided I should go to my first pub crawl and embrace Prague night life! I arrived to the meeting point around 8:30 and met my group of around 15 people. People/groups from America, Denmark, Norway, UK, And Italy. It was a fun and super nice group.
Throughout the night, we went to 3 different bars and ended at Karlozy Lavzne which is the biggest club in Europe with 5 floors. It was not crazy busy because it was just a Thursday, but we ended up combining groups with another pub crawl and we all danced and hung out and had a great time. I met some super nice people- my favorite being Cassie from Utah and Carlotta from Italy!
I left around 2:30 to my hostel and quickly got ready for bed to get as much sleep in as possible before my 7:30 train ride tomorrow.

I can’t imagine having to use that underground bunker. It’s amazing that it’s preserved and people can see what it looked like. The next train ride would be a good one for sleep. Not much time for sleep on this day!
