The traveling today definitely wore me out. I woke up bright and early at 5 to pack up, make a lunch, and board my 6:30 train to Vienna. The train ride was not awful for being 8 hours long. I had two seats to myself so I spread out my stuff and slept for half the ride. I have caught a cold, I think. My throat has been pretty scratchy and today my nose started running, so that was definitely not fun for the train ride. I’m hoping it’s only minor!

I got to my hostel around 2:30. I was preparing to spend the afternoon napping, taking a shower, getting groceries, and doing some laundry. I wanted a nice, relaxing evening to reset since I’ve been pretty overwhelmed. However, as soon as I got to my hostel, i met another 18 year old traveler named Aishu who was so kind. She is from Massachusetts and is doing a semester abroad in Greece.

She invited me to go get boba and honestly despite how gross and tired I felt, I couldn’t resist one short outing. We went and then ended up walking around some shops and even going to a beautiful art museum. It was called Kunthistorisches and was so gorgeous and it featured so much amazing artwork.
We made our way back to the hostel where u had a very nice shower and started on some laundry. The laundry was again a pain in the ass. The washers were being used, so I waited half an hour. My load took 20 minutes once in the wash, and then I had to wait for the drivers to open up which took about half an hour until I just put someone’s dry clothes into a laundry basket. I finally got my clothes in at 10:30, and they took an hour to dry. I got them at 12, and they were still so wet! feeling defeated, I draped them around the hostel room and my bed to air dry, and went to bed. It sucked, and I wanted to have an early night, but it is what it is!
Im determined to make tomorrow a better day.

Too bad laundry is such a pain in the hostels! Hopefully tomorrow will be more relaxing and you feel better too. Guess I’ll have to wait for your next gap year to see photos from the FIFA museum you had to skip.

I’m impressed, I have to say. Really hardly ever do I encounter a blog that’s each educative and entertaining, and let me let you know, you’ve got hit the nail on the head. Your idea is excellent; the problem is something that not sufficient people are talking intelligently about. I’m very glad that I stumbled throughout this in my search for one thing relating to this.
