I had another early morning to board my train from Vienna to Ljubljana- 6 hours. I passed out for half of the ride so it wasn’t awful, and I got to Ljubljana around 2pm.
The hostel was, thankfully, only about a 7 min walk from the train station. The hostel I am staying at- Hostel Celica- was an old prison! It is super cool and the rooms and facilities are super nice, you never would’ve known!
I took a shower, unpacked my things, and headed out to get some food. I got a bowl from “Veganista” which was a vegan restaurant right by my hostel! My bowl had red cabbage, edamame, shiitake mushrooms, cucumber, tofu, rice noodles, and a peanut ginger dressing!

After this, I walked around Ljubljana a little bit and went to a history museum since i really don’t know anything about Slovenia. It wasn’t a very good museum though, and I was very tired and sick so I left after only 45 minutes, embarrassed from having a coughing attack in the middle of the silent exhibition.
I walked through the beautiful Tivoli gardens before getting an ice cream and eating it in the city center square. Even though it was cold, this was a happy moment.
I became very exhausted and decided it would be best to rest up tonight instead of overworking myself, so I headed back to the hostel around 6. I had some tea and read. Haven’t met any roommates except one from California, but I’m pretty sure they’re all like 30 year old men, so maybe I won’t be as successful with friendships in this hostel.
I passed out around 6 in perpetration for yet another early morning tomorrow!

Hopefully the locking cell doors were removed, or at least the locks! Ha ha ha. Nothing wrong with letting your body rest. Pushing it too hard will make things worse.
