After a long day yesterday, we both slept in quite a bit- until around 10. We then had a coffee and small breakfast and Matteo’s breakfast picked us up to go to his home town Pisogne. The drive was about an hour (which I slept through). He lives in a small town on a mountain overlooking a beautiful lake- the view was gorgeous.

We went to his grandma’s house (they are neighbors) first where she made an amazing pasta dish for lunch. I don’t even know what was in it, but it was so so good. We all had a coffee after.

We then went to put our stuff away in Matteo’s house. His house was so cool and felt very traditionally Italian- hard to explain though. We left to go to the small city center where we walked around and had some huge ice cream sundaes (that felt strangely American)

We picked up some groceries for dinner and headed back to his house. The plan for the night was to sleep at his friends house in Burgamo, an hour away, so we packed up for that. We began helping to prepare dinner and had bass, tomato, potatoes, and bread with his parents and brother. We also had a coffee (I think my 5th cup for the day). Me and Matteo drove to Burgamo and went to a bar to meet with about 6 of his friends. We had some drinks and played many very intense games of foosball.

Then we went to a club, leaving the bar around midnight. The club was pretty cool; they played some American songs which was nice and I met a lot of super nice people and friends of Matteo. I’ve found that everyone is more willing to practice their English once drunk!
We left the club around 5 am and all passed out at his friends house.
