My train from Milan to Paris was at 11:20 so I had some time in the morning. I went to a popular cafe called Pave and enjoyed my morning coffee and pastry at the hostel.

I packed up my things and headed to the train station. My first train to Basel was 4 hours, a 20 minute layover, then a 2 hour train to Strasborg. My layover in Strasborg was only 8 minutes so I rushed to get my next train but was stopped because I had to make sear reservations which I had not done since I couldn’t figure it out on the website, probably because the train was full. I had to miss my train to Paris, but seat reservations at a kiosk, and wait an hour for the next one. It wasn’t a big deal, just a minor inconvenience. I was planning on only staying in Paris for two days, then leaving to Nice, but at the train station I decided to buy seats for this train also and found out it was all booked up. I’m very glad I realized this now rather than later because I then reserved seats for Friday to Nice and had time to change the dates of my hostel stays, giving me two more days in Paris.

I then boarded my train (1hour) to Paris and took the metro to my hostel. This hostel is probably the worst quality so far. Nothing awful just a little u comfortable. I knew this seeing the ratings, but I only thought I was staying two nights, but I will now be staying.

I walked to a very popular and very good falafel place for dinner then made my way back to my hostel for an early night.
